A Western Sun — Mid-jam switch from acoustic to electric by Rick coasts through a solid peak.

Rockdale — At a svelte 15 minutes, one of the year’s most satisfying and efficient performances. Out of the verses, it drops immediately into a patient half-time jam undergirded by sultry organ and Big T funk. Channeling David Gilmour, Rick fills space with the fewest possible notes, crafting an ethereal soundscape. Lead guitar takes to the fore with a bluesy jam that dissolves into a brief Rush-like prog passage before building to a satisfying tension-and-release peak.
